Into Mischief’s yearlings surpassed the $1 million mark four times during book 1 of the 2025 Keeneland September sale, topped by a $1.6 million colt that sold on Tuesday.

Cataloged as hip No. 293 and consigned by Gainesway III, agent, the colt went to Spendthrift Farm LLC. He was bred by Bridlewood Farm & Alter’s Racing Stables Inc.

The bay colt is out of Curlin’s Approval, a three-time graded stakes winner who has two previous runners by Into Mischief, including Grade 3-placed Praetor.

Also selling on Tuesday was hip No. 214, consigned by Brookdale, agent and purchased by Whisper Hill Farm LLC for $1.5 million. The bay colt was bred by Yulong Investments Pty LTD and is out of the Galileo mare White Hot (IRE), who is also the dam of Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1) winner Pizza Bianaca and Saranac S. (G3) winner West Hollywood.

Into Mischief has 23 lots cataloged to sell in Book 2, which is comprised of Wednesday’s and Thursday’s sessions.

The September sale comes on the heels of an incredible end of the Saratoga meet for Into Mischief that included four Grade 1 winners over the last two weeks: Sovereignty, Tommy Jo, Ted Noffey and Patch Adams.
