Incredibolt, a 2-year-old Bolt d’Oro colt, won his stakes debut in thrilling fashion Sunday at Churchill Downs, coming from last to take the Street Sense S. (G3) by 1 ¾-lengths.

Incredibolt earned 10 points on the Road to the Kentucky Derby series that ultimately will determine the preference list for the 2026 Kentucky Derby (G1).

A maiden winner at Churchill in September, Incredibolt was allowed to settle at the back of the seven-horse field and was some six lengths off the half-mile pace of :48.83. Around the final bend, Incredibolt made up some ground to be about four lengths from the leaders turning for home. With a steady and determined final quarter-mile, Incredibolt surged to the lead with a sixteenth to run and won going away in 1:44.67 for the 1 1/16-miles on a fast track.

“It’s his second time winning here at Churchill and we’re just delighted to have 10 points for the Kentucky Derby,” said Michael Hardy, Director of Farm Operations for owner Pin Oak Stud. “Hopefully he can follow the path Sovereignty (winner of the 2024 Street Sense, and subsequently the Derby) did.”

Incredibolt has two wins in three starts and has earned $196,181. The dark bay colt was bred in Kentucky by Deann Baer and Greg Baer DVM.

Incredibolt is the ninth graded winner for Bolt d’Oro, who is also in the top three on this year’s Fourth-Crop sire list. Bolt d’Oro will stand the 2026 season for $25,000 live foal.
