December 12, 2025
Dirty Rich broke on top in Friday’s $150,000 Advent S. at Oaklawn Park and never looked back, rolling to a 1 ¾-length win in the 5 ½-furlong sprint for 2-year-olds.
Dirty Rich is the seventh stakes winner this year for Thousand Words, whose 2025 progeny earnings have surpassed $3.1 million. Thousand Words will stand the 2026 season at Spendthrift Farm for $7,500 live foal.
Showing his customary speed, Dirty Rich showed the way through fractions of :21.89 and :45.70 and came into the stretch with a narrow lead over Spun D M C. He spurted clear at the top of the stretch and comfortably held off Boca Beach Club to secure the win.
Trained by Peter Miller for Michael McMillan, Dirty Rich has won two of five starts and earned $120,712. The dark bay colt was bred in Kentucky by Ralph Coville and hails from the family of Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) winner Dancing in Silks.
