Omaha Beach filly garners fourth stakes win in Correction S.
March 1, 2026
The ultra-consistent With the Angels won for the seventh time in nine lifetime starts March 1 at Aqueduct when the 4-year-old Omaha Beach filly strutted her way to a 4 ½-length victory in the $135,000 Correction S.
Sent off as the even-money favorite in a field of just four, With the Angels was third in the three-path in the tightly-bunched field. She continued to stalk around the turn, then once turned loose in upper stretch, she strode clear powerfully to finish the six furlongs in 1:10.97 on a “good” main track.
As a 2-year-old, With the Angels won her first four starts, including a trio of state-bred stakes. She was away from the races for most of 2025, returning with yet another win in November. After a pair of seconds, she took an allowance race on Jan. 22, her most recent start before the Correction.
Owned by Winning Move Stable, John C. Oxley, Lady Sheila Stable, Silverwood Stables and Sanford H. Robbins, LLC, With the Angels has earned $501,200. The dark bay filly was bred in New York by Joseph DeRico.
