Into Mischief completes Saturday Grade 1 double with Renegade in Arkansas Derby (G1)
March 28, 2026

Renegade became the second of Into Mischief’s two colts to punch their ticket to the Kentucky Derby (G1) with his dominating performance in Saturday’s $1.5 million Arkansas Derby (G1).
The win came about an hour after Into Mischief’s Commandment won the $1 million Florida Derby (G1).
Both colts earned 100 points on the Road to the Kentucky Derby, with Commandment now topping the list with a total of 150, while Renegade is second with 125.
Sent off the even-money favorite in the field of eight, Renegade settled at the back of the pack as Redland Rebels led the field for the first six furlongs. After checking briefly going into the far turn, Renegade moved up between horses then swung four-wide to move into fourth at the top of the stretch. The bay colt was full of run down the lane and blew past the leaders to win going away in 1:49.70 on a fast track.
Owned by his breeders Robert and Lawana Low, along with Mike Repole, Renegade is 2-2-1 in five starts and has earned $1,031,500. Renegade won the Sam F. Davis S. in early February and was second to Paladin in the Remsen S. (G2).
