Early in the day at the 2025 Keeneland September Yearling Sale, Hip 41 went through the ring and sold for $800,000 to CHC INC, Maverick Racing, and First Go Racing LLC and was consigned by Four Star Sales.

This colt, sired by Flightline and out of the Grade 2 winning American Pharoah mare Merneith, was a huge fan-favorite at Spendthrift Farm on Shuttle Tours and social media. Born and raised at Spendthrift, he was known for his incredibly kind personality and confidence. He was also, understandably, a bit of a show-off.

As of 2026, this colt has been named Oakmont.
