Magnificat adds another stakes win to her resume in the Tranquility Lake Stakes at Del Mar, a homebred for owner Spendthrift Farm, she is trained by Richard Mandella and was ridden by Joel Rosario.

After stumbling at the break, Magnificat trailed the field for the first half-mile before launching a huge rally that would carry her to victory by 2 1/2 lengths. She placed second in the G2 Great Lady M stakes just 1 1/4 lengths behind Sweet Azteca.
