Goldencents leads freshman sires with 29 winners

Goldencents’s terrific first crop of runners in 2018 included 29 individual winners, 10 more than any other Freshman Sire and second only to fellow Spendthrift first-year sire Cross Traffic in earnings, with nearly $1.4 million.

His 29 winners ranks near the top of any first year stallion in the past decade, surpassing the likes of Uncle Mo and Pioneerof the Nile.

Goldencents also ranked second by stakes horses with six, including a pair of stakes winners.

Goldencents, a son of Spendthrift’s leading sire Into Mischief, is standing the 2019 season for $20,000 live foal.
