Gormley juveniles still commanding attention at Keeneland

September 20, 2020

At the mid-point of the 2020 Keeneland September Yearling sale, Gormley’s offspring continue to be among the top sellers for First-Crop sires.

During Sunday’s session, hip No. 2279, consigned by Gainesway, agent, went to Ronnie Edmondson for $140,000.

One of three foals out of Mott n Hester, the chestnut colt was bred in Kentucky and hails Grade 1 winner Bullard’s Alley as well as graded wines Karibu Gardens and Nessy.

Through the first seven sessions of the marathon auction, Gormley’s yearlings have averaged a robust 12.5 times his stud fee.
