Bolt d’Oro filly much the best in her debut win

August 1, 2022

Lindalovesgold streaked to a front-running victory in her Aug. 1 career debut at Parx, drawing off impressively in the stretch to win the 5 ½-furlong maiden special weight contest by a widening four lengths.

The 2-year-old filly is the ninth winner for Bolt d’Oro, the second-most for any First-Crop sire of 2022. He also ranks second by progeny earnings with $550,347 to date.

Lindalovesgold was in control of her race from the outset. Breaking from the inside post, she maintained a one-length lead until the top of the stretch, when she readily responded to her rider’s urging and pulled away easily for the win.

The winner races for her breeder Marchfore Thoroughbreds. Lindalovesgold’s third dam is Breeders’ Cup Distaff (G1) winner and champion 3-year-old filly Sacahuista.
