Bolt d’Oro, Into Mischief colts fastest workers Friday at OBS

A pair of colts by Spendthrift stallions Bolt d’Oro and Into Mischief shared the fastest furlong work during Friday’s Under Tack Show for the upcoming OBS 2-year-old Sale to be held March 15-16.
Both colts registered a furlong time of :09 4/5 seconds.
Hip No. 257, a bay colt by Into Mischief out of the Not For Love mare Zapara, is a half-brother to stakes-placed Basso. The colt is consigned by Eddie Woods as agent.
Hip No. 291, from the Top Line Sales LLC consignment, is a bay colt from the first crop of Bolt d’Oro. Out of the Uncle Mo Mare Beautissimo, who is a half-sister to graded stakes-placed and stakes winner Two Thirty Five.
“I’m going to take a shot in the dark and say (Hips 291 & 438) are going to go 10 flat or faster,” said Top Line’s Jimbo Gladwell.
Hip 291 is the latest of three Bolt d’Oro juveniles to post an under 10-second furlong work during the show. Hip No. 438 is scheduled to breeze on Sunday.
