Casa Creed set to contest Breeders’ Cup Mile (G1)

November 5, 2020

Casa Creed will face some of the world’s best middle-distance horses in Saturday’s $2 million Breeders’ Cup Mile (G1) at Keeneland.

The 4-year-old son of Jimmy Creed won last year’s Hall of Fame S. (G2) at Saratoga and was beaten just a little more than two lengths in Keeneland’s Shadwell Turf Mile (G1) on Oct. 3.

Saturday’s Mile, race 9 at 3:15 p.m. ET, will have a full field of 14, with Casa Creed right in the middle in post seven. He’ll be ridden by Junior Alvarado for trainer Bill Mott and owners LRE Racing LLC and JEH Racing Stable LLC.

Casa Creed was bred in Kentucky by Silver Springs Stud LLC.

Jimmy Creed is responsible for eight stakes horses this year and is the leading cumulative Fourth-Crop sire of graded stakes winners. His fee for 2021 will be $10,000 S&N.
