Dominus filly scores at Churchill Downs

November 23, 2016

First-crop sire Dominus chalked up his latest maiden winner Nov. 23 at Churchill Downs when the 2-year-old filly Dominant Class rallied in deep stretch to win a six-furlong maiden contest by a half-length.

The winner was bred in Florida by Brenda Jones and is owned by JSM Equine LLC.

Dominus, who will stand the 2017 season at Spendthrift Farm for a $7,500 live foal, is a top-15 Freshman Sire with the likes of $350,000 Kentucky Downs Juvenile S. winner All Right and the multiple Grade 1-placed Straight Fire from his first crop.
