Malibu Moon recorded his 50th lifetime graded stakes winner on Saturday at Laurel Park when Eres Tu won the $150,000 Allaire Dupont S. (G3) by a length over Wicked Awesome.

The win was also the 4-year-old filly’s third straight win and kept her perfect in as many starts in 2020.

After winning the Thirty Eight Go Go S. a month ago, Eres Tu stepped into graded company for the first time since the 2019 Fair Grounds Oaks (G2). She broke alertly and settled into third about a length from the front as the field rounded the first turn. She was under a snug hold for the backstretch run, then came up on even terms with Landing Zone and Needs Supervision on the final bend.

Eres Tu shook clear and opened up a two-length advantage in mid-stretch, then handily held off Wicked Awesome to get the 1 1/8-miles in 1:50.57.

“I know [Needs Supervision] was going to be a little bit fast, so I let my filly get away from there because I want to be in a good position. So, I let [Needs Supervision] go and then I came around and I was in a perfect spot the whole way,” winning rider Jevian Toledo said.

The victory improved Eres Tu’s record to 4-1-1 in nine starts and her earnings to $286,227. She is owned by her breeders Edward Seltzer and Beverly Anderson.
