Spendthrift Farm’s four first-season stallions – Arabian Lion, Forte, Taiba and Zandon – have all had their first respective mares confirmed in foal.

Justify’s brilliant Grade 1-winning 3-year-old Arabian Lion had his first mare reported as in foal at Chesapeake Farm. The mare, Battle Bridge, is by Arch and is the dam of three-time stakes winner Joe.

Forte, the Champion 2-Year-Old Male of 2022, had his first reported mare check in foal at Clearview Stable. Foxy Danseur, a multiple stakes winner by Mr. Greeley, is the dam of stakes performers Miss Centerfold and Ever So Clever, the latter a Grade 3 winner.

Gun Runner’s only three-time Grade 1-winning son Taiba had his first reported in-foal mare at Seclusive Farm. Music Street, by Street Sense, was runner-up in the Falls City S. (G3) at Churchill Downs last fall in her final start, before retiring and selling as a broodmare for $210,000 at Keeneland January.

Grade 1 winner and multimillionaire Zandon had his first reported mare confirmed as pregnant at Watershed Farm. The Not This Time mare Nora checked in foal for breeder Kathryn A. Swanson.
