Into Mischief’s Go Google Yourself joined the ranks of graded stakes winners on Sept. 14 with a brave win in the $200,000 Locust Grove S. (G3) at Churchill Downs (VIDEO).

Into Mischief, the nation’s leading sire of 2019, now has five graded winners this year, topped by Grade 1 winners Covfefe and Mis Mischief. Spendthrift recently announced his 2020 stud fee at $175,000 live foal, and also reported his book full for next year.

After a comfortable win in the Aug.11 Groupie Doll S. at Ellis Park, Go Google Yourself was ready to face graded company once again on Saturday. Going three-wide into the first turn and down the backstretch, Go Google Yourself was never more than two lengths through a half-mile in :49.17.

She stayed well off the fence on the final bend as well and swept to the front in upper stretch. Clearing off in the lane she held off Malibu Moon’s multiple stakes winner Moonlit Garden to win by a neck and complete a Spendthrift stallion exacta.

“We had a lot of confidence in her going in,” trainer Paul McGee said. “The way she won at Ellis Park last time, by three lengths going away, she won pretty easy last time out to get her first stakes win.”

Owned by her breeder Jay Em Ess Stable, Go Google Yourself is 6-4-3 in 17 starts and has earned $462,025. The 4-year-old dam Taunt has produced seven winners and is a daughter of Jay Em Ess’ multiple Grade 1 winner I Ain’t Bluffing.
