Golden Mischief dominates again

Golden Mischief turned in another peak performance in Saturday’s $75,000 Secretary of State S. at Mountaineer Park, drawing off to a 7 1/4-length victory and getting the six furlongs in a lively 1:09.24 [WATCH RACE].

Ridden by Florent Geroux for trainer Brad Cox, Golden Mischief got some early pressure from Astrollinthepark then drew off easily in the stretch to come home the easiest of winners.

A five-length Saylerville S. a month ago, Golden Mischief is now 9-3-0 in 20 starts, has won six stakes and earned $518,150 for Juddmonte Farms Inc. She was bred in Kentucky by Fredericka Caldwell.

Into Mischief is the second-leading sire of winners this year with 114 individuals. He is also in the top five on the General Sire list by black type winners, black type wins, and progeny earnings.
