Golden Mischief snatches victory in Flashy Lady S.

September 25, 2017

Into Mischief’s multiple stakes-winning filly Golden Mischief won her fourth career black type race on Sept. 24 with a gutsy neck victory in the $50,000 Flashy Lady S. at Remington Park.

The 3-year-old filly was off the pace until entering the final furlong, when she swung around a trio of foes to best Wheatfield by a neck in a rapid 1:08.53 for the six furlongs.

Bred in Kentucky by Fredericka Caldwell, Golden Mischief is out of the stakes-placed mare Lanai City, who is a sister to multiple graded stakes winner Eagleton.

Golden Mischief is now 6-3-0 in 15 starts and has banked $355,830 for owners Bill and Corinne Heiligbrodt, who purchased the filly for $180,000 at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Winter Mixed sale in February, 2015.

Into Mischief is 2017’s leading sire of 3-year-olds, with seven sophomore stakes winners, including H. Allen Jerkens S. (G1) winner Practical Joke.
