A colt from the latest crop of this years’ leading Second-Crop sire Goldencents sold for $170,000 during the closing session of the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky October Yearlings sale.

The dark bay colt, hip No. 1528, was consigned by Legacy Bloodstock, agent and sold to Kueber Racing.

The Kentucky-bred juvenile is the second foal produced by Waltz with Chester, who is a half-sister to Canadian champion Basqueian, stakes winners Sir Ebony Knight and Regal Halo, as well as Leaning Tower, the dam of Grade 1 winner Karelian.

Goldencents’ 2020 fee will be announced following the results of this year’s Breeders’ Cup, when Mr. Money runs in the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (G1) on Nov. 2.
