Goldencents tops 2020 Northern Hemisphere Third-Crop Sire list

Goldencents continued to prove himself one of the most influential sires of his generation in 2020, leading all northern hemisphere sires on the Third-Crop Sire list.

The son of champion General Sire Into Mischief has been ranked atop the respective list each of his first three years at stud, and with his three largest books of mares from 2018-20, his impact is sure to be felt for years to come.

Finishing ahead of sires such as Kingman (GB) and No Nay Never, Goldencents was represented in 2020 by six stakes winners, 15 stakes horses, the winners of 173 races and earners of $6,653,183.

Leading the way was two-time graded stakes winner By My Standards, who took both the Alysheba S. (G2) and Oaklawn H. (G2). The now 5-year-old has earned $1,829,430. Mr. Money added the Ack Ack S. (G3) to a resume that now includes five graded stakes victories and $1,360, 430 in earnings. Wildman Jack was a two-time graded winner on the grass in the Daytona S. (G3) and Nad Al Sheba Turf Sprint (G3).

Goldencents’ year-end cumulative stats stand at 26 stakes horses with progeny earnings over $13.7 million. He is standing the 2021 season for $15,000 S&N.
