Into Mischief filly lowers furlong mark at OBS

A filly by Into Mischief blazed through a furlong in :9 3/5 seconds on Tuesday during the third session of the Under Tack show for next week’s OBS Spring Sale of 2-year-olds in Training, which runs June 9-12 (VIDEO).
Cataloged as hip No. 429 and consigned by Randy Bradshaw, the bay filly is out of the multiple stakes winner and graded stakes-placed mare Shannon Nicole. She was bred by Sharon Hudon’s Sierra Farm.
“She definitely exceeded all expectations,” Sierra Farm manager Michael Callanan said. “She hasn’t taken a backwards step. All we heard from Randy all winter long was just, ‘This filly is an absolute tank.’ and ‘She is a rocket.’ Those were the only two words he used to describe her.”
Into Mischief, last year’s record-breaking leading General Sire and the sire of 14 stakes winners to date in 2020, has a total of 28 lots in next week’s sale, which begins daily at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.
