An Into Mischief filly fired a bullet furlong in 10 seconds flat Wednesday during the Under Tack Show for the May 20-21 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Sale of 2-year-olds, marking the only juvenile to hit 10 seconds flat during the first two days of breezing.

Bobby Dodd is the consignor of the bay filly, hip No. 360, who will sell during the second session of the auction. The filly is out of the stakes-placed mare Peggy Jane and from the family of Canadian champion and millionaire Dynamic Sky.

“She’s always been fast; she’s the best one in this sale for me,” Dodd said. “She’s a good-minded, big strong filly and has a quick turn of foot.”

Into Mischief has a total of 13 lots in the Midlantic catalog, including four that breezed just a tick off the bullet move at 10.1 seconds and another that zipped a bullet quarter-mile in 21.3 seconds.

That colt, hip 322, is out of the mare Nihilist and is consigned by Top Line Sales. He was a $575,000 RNA earlier this year at the Fasig-Tipton Gulfstream sale and looks primed to improve on that number at Timonium.

Among the 10.1 workers is hip 425, a colt out of the Quality Road mare Roadbug consigned by Wavertree Stables. He was a $340,000 yearling graduate of last year’s Keeneland September sale.

Into Mischief enters the F-T Midlantic sale with 3 seven-figure 2-year-olds sold already in 2019, currently making him the only sire in North America with more than two million-dollar 2-year-old sales this year. This crop marks his best-bred to date, coming from a $45,000 bred-on fee in 2016.

The sale begins at 11 a.m. ET next Monday and Tuesday.
