Into Mischief’s Mundaye Call triumphs in Clarksville S.

July 22, 2021

Mundaye Call scored her second career stakes win in the inaugural running of the $65,000 Clarksville S. Wednesday, July 21 at Indiana Grand.

The 4-year-old Into Mischief filly set a track record in last year’s Audubon Oaks at Ellis Park.

Ridden by Florent Geroux, Mundaye Call got away alertly and pressed Euphoric through a swift half-mile in :45.16. The duo were side-by-side through the stretch until Mundaye Call inched clear late to win by three-quarters of a length in 1:09.40 for the six furlongs on a fast track.

“She (Mundaye Call) always gives you high regards because she has great works in the morning,” said Geroux, who has been aboard in half her career starts. “She ran a great race today and I was very pleased with her performance.”

Trained by Brad Cox for OXO Equine, Mundaye Call in 4-2-0 in 10 starts and has earned $252,080. She was bred in Kentucky by Three Chimneys Farm.

Mundaye Call is one of 22 stakes winners this year for Into Mischief, who leads the General Sire list once again this year after topping it in both 2019 and 2020.
