Into Mischief’s Quebec earns first black type win

April 28, 2019

Quebec made her way to the front soon after the start of Saturday’s Powder Break S. at Gulfstream Park and was never headed the rest of the trip as the 5-year-old daughter of Into Mischief scored by 1 ¼-lengths in the one-mile contest on the turf.

The bay, owned by Ackerman Racing, William Marasa and Ritchie Robershaw, placed in the Grade 3 Robert Frankel last year at Del Mar, and is now 6-5-3 in 24 starts and has earned $247,650.

Into Mischief’s progeny have had a fantastic April both on track and at auction. He has four stakes winners this month, and had the $1.3 million sales-topper at the recently concluded OBS Spring Sale of 2-year-olds in Training.

Quebec was bred in Kentucky by Preston Madden and is out of the Distorted Humor mare Miss Canada.
