Kobe’s Traffic gallops to front-running score

Itsmyluckyday tallied first-crop winner number seven on Sept. 20 when the 2-year-old filly Kobe’s Traffic led all the way to break her maiden by 2 1/4-lengths at Presque Isle Downs.

Never headed at any point, the gray/roan juvenile covered the 5 1/2-furlongs in 1:05.22 on a fast track.

The winner is the second foal out of Thunder Roaring, whose siblings include Toboggan S. (G3) winner Head Heart Hoof and stakes-placed Myrtle’s Gray. She was bred by BWB Bloodstock and Paul Baird.

Itsmyluckyday ranks fourth on the 2018 Freshman Sire list by winners. He also had his first graded stakes performer on Sept. 2 when Bob Lucky Road placed in the Grade 3 Coll Vidal S.
