Maximus Mischief filly leads all the way for MdSpWt win

Maximus Mischief got his 21st winner, most for any First-Crop sire, on Oct. 21 when True Princess scored by 2 ¼-lengths in a five-furlong maiden special weight contest at Delta Downs [WATCH RACE].
Maximus Mischief’s first crop has accounted for 26 overall wins, including two stakes winners, both numbers also lead all freshman sires. Spendthrift will announce his 2024 fee later this year.
True Princess showed a quick turn of foot immediately after the start to take a half-length lead in the first furlong. She steadily widened her margin from there to win handily in 1:00.49 on a fast track.
The winner was bred by Terrazas Thoroughbreds LLC and is owned by Norman Stables LLC. True Princess is a half-sister to six winners, including stakes-placed Concealed Carry.
