Mitole weanling makes strong showing at Fasig-Tipton

A weanling colt from the first crop of Eclipse Champion Mitole sold for $160,000 Monday at the Fasig-Tipton November Sale in central Kentucky.
The dark bay colt, hip No. 63, was consigned by Wynnstay Sales, agent, and purchased by Sand Hill Bloodstock.
The colt is out of the Harlan’s Holiday mare Kisses from Kate, who has three winners from as many starters.
Mitole was a four-time Grade 1 winner and stakes-record setter during his championship season of 2019. He has covered 438 mares in his first two years at stud and will stand the 2022 season for $15,000 S&N.
Mitole has a total of 41 weanlings cataloged in the Keeneland November Sale, which runs Nov. 10-19.
