Momentum continues for Mitole at Keeneland November sale

Mitole started off the Keeneland November sale with a pair of six-figure weanlings on Wednesday, topped by a $160,000 filly that went to Brookstone Farm.

Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent was the consignor of hip No. 72. The dark bay filly’s second and third dams are both multiple stakes winners, and her dam Beholden has produced a trio of stakes winners, led by Schuylerville S. (G3) heroine Brazen Persuasion.

Earlier in the session, hip No. 53, consigned by Elm Tree Farm LLC, sold to Corrine and Bill Heiligbrodt for $100,000. The bay filly is out of stakes winner Vertical Vision and is a half-sister to two-time graded stakes winner Vertical Oak.

Mitole, the Eclipse Champion Sprinter of 2019, has a total of 41 lots in the current Keeneland Sale, which runs through Nov. 19.
