Mor Spirit filly debuts an eight-length maiden special weight winner

July 17, 2022

Mor Lively set the early pace then drew off in eye-catching fashion to win her July 17 debut by eight lengths in a 5 ½-furlong maiden special weight race for 2-year-old fillies.

The chestnut juvenile is the second First-Crop winner for Mor Spirit, whose offspring have been much sought-after at the 2-year-old sales this year, averaging more than 17 times his stud fee.

Mor Lively was in control from the outset as she led Foolish Delight by a half-length for the first three furlongs, then began to draw away at will, winning as much the best while in hand late.

Mor Lively races for her breeders J. Kirk and Judy Robinson. The filly is the first foal out of So Lively, who is a half-sister to recent Suburban S. (G2) winner Dynamic One.
