Mor Spirit up to a dozen winners with sharp tally by Aaron’s Spirit

Aaron’s Spirit turned in a very sharp maiden special weight win Friday evening at Delta Downs, bounding to a six-length win with a powerful stretch run (WATCH RACE).

The 2-year-old colt is the 12th First-Crop winner for Mor Spirit, who has also accounted for stakes horses Mor Lively and Velocitor.

When the pacesetter couldn’t handle the turn, Aaron’s Spirit quickly took over and opened up on the field. He went on to win in fine fashion as much the best.

The dark bay colt is owned by End Zone Athletics Inc. and was bred in Kentucky by Terrazas Thoroughbreds, LLC, Jason Litt and SB Racing LLC. Aaron’s Spirit is the second foal out of Stylish Quality, who is a half-sister to Grade 3 winner Term of Art.

Mor Spirit, who covered more than 100 mares in his first two seasons, will stand for $5,000 live foal in 2023.
