Most Amusing shines in Rising Star debut

Malibu Moon’s 3-year-old colt Most Amazing became his sire’s 18th lifetime TDN Rising Star following his 4 1/2-length maiden special weight victory on April 6 at Santa Anita Park (VIDEO).
Most Amusing joins the likes of Malibu Moon’s Grade 1 winners Eden’s Moon, Moonshine Memories and Carina Mia in the Rising Star club.
Most Amusing, trained by Bob Baffert for his breeder Juddmonte Farms, ran like the odds-on favorite he was. Battling for the lead from the outset, Most Amusing took over the lead with about three furlongs to run. Shaken up by Draden Van Dyke at the top of the stretch, the bay colt quickly opened up on the field, and was eased up as he crossed the wire in 1:04.93 for the 5 1/2-furlongs on the fast track.
Most Amusing’s dam Comic Marvel is out of the multiple graded stakes winner Media Nox (GB) and is a half-sister to multiple Grade 1 winner Nebraska Tornado.
