$1,300,000 Jackie’s Warrior colt the highest price for a first crop yearling during the First Session of Book 2

A colt by Jackie’s Warrior sells for $1,300,000 at the
Keeneland September Yearling Sale

Jackie’s Warrior was represented by multiple high-priced first-crop yearlings during Session 1 of Book 2 at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale including a $1,300,000 colt, the highest priced horse from any stallion with their first yearlings being sold that day.

Hip 546 was consigned by Woods Edge Farm for breeder Dixiana Farms LLC, the stunning colt was purchased by West Bloodstock for agent Robert & Lawana Low. Bred in Kentucky, he is out of the Trappe Shot mare Taking Aim, coming from the family of Tapizar.

Of the 9 yearlings offered during this session by Jackie’s Warrior, 8 of them sold including a a pair of high-priced fillies.

Hip 428 came early in the session, hammering down at $700,000 to MWG, LLC. Also consigned by Woods Edge Farm, this time for breeder Warren J. Harang. She was bred in Kentucky and is out of the Pulpit mare Miss Inclined.

Towards the end of the day, Hip 758, another filly by Jackie’s Warrior sold for $650,000 to Alex & JoAnn Lieblong. Consigned by Taylor Made Sales, she is out of the Street Sense mare Ice Women.
