Cyber Spy the first stakes winner for Cyberknife

August 2, 2026

Top-six First-Crop sire Cyberknife got his first stakes winner Aug. 2 at Colonial Downs when Cyber Spy went gate-to-wire to win the $100,000 Keswick S. [WATCH RACE]

After breaking her maiden in her debut just nine days prior, Cyber Spy was keen out of the gate once again on Sunday. She established a one-length lead in the first half-mile and opened up by as much as three lengths in midstretch before coasting under the wire a 1 ¼-lengths winner in 1:04.34 for the 5 ½-furlongs over a muddy racetrack.

“She was coming back on short rest after running July 24, so I was a little uncertain whether she could handle this test,” jockey Sonny Leon said. “But I think she showed us today that she can absolutely compete with and beat this kind of company. She was very sharp leaving the gate.”

Cyber Spy, now 2-for-2 in her career, is owned by Gary Barber and Anthony Vinciquerra. The bay filly was bred in Virginia by Hubert Verster.

Cyberknife, a multiple Grade 1 winner of over $2 million, also had a new maiden special weight winner on Sunday when What’s Your Style won his debut by 4 ½-lengths over the turf at Gulfstream Park. What’s Your Style is owned by Michael Dubb and Andrew Rosen and was bred in Kentucky by Stoneriggs Farm.
