Greedy Creedy, who won the Iowa Cradle S. at two, is now 6-1-1 in 18 starts and has earned $219,333 for Kuhlman Racing.

Greedy Creedy was in the mix right from the start of Saturday’s 1 1/16-mile contest. He pressed the leaders from the three path on the first turn and down the backstretch. He began to move closer to the lead while still wide on the final bend, and then was head-to-head for the lead entering the stretch. Pacesetter Minecraft Maniac battled gamely, but Greedy Creedy put him away in the final sixteenth to secure the victory.

The winner, a gray/roan 4-year-old, was bred by H. Allen Poindexter.

Jimmy Creed, who now has more than 50 stakes horses lifetime, has potential Breeders’ Cup starters this year in Casa Creed, winner of both the Fourstardave H. (G1) and Jaipur S. (G1) for either the Mile (G1) or Turf Sprint (G1), and 2-year-old Private Creed, winner of the $500,000 Kentucky Downs Juvenile Turf Sprint S., for the BC Juvenile Turf Sprint (G1).
