Hot streak continues for Jackie’s Warrior at OBS

One day after making a big splash with a $500,000 colt during the OBS opening session, Jackie’s Warrior topped that number on Wednesday with a $600,000 colt, one of the top six prices paid for a colt during the session.

Consigned by Pick View LLC, agent, hip No. 542 went to Gracie/Legion, agent. The bay colt was bred in Kentucky by Dixiana Farms.

The colt is out of Inside Information S. (G2) winner America’s Tale, who is a half-sister to stakes winner Hollywood Beauty.

Jackie’s Warrior will be represented on track this year by his first 2-year-olds.  He was incredibly prolific as a 2-year-old, winning the Saratoga Special (G2), Hopeful S. (G1) and Champagne S. (G1), the first horse in 27 years to capture all of those historic races. Jackie’s Warrior stands for $25,000 S&N.
