Into Mischief filly wins Serena’s Song S. in black type debut

March 28, 2026

Hen Party swept past the leaders at the top of the Turfway Park stretch on her way to victory in the $125,000 Serena’s Song S. Saturday night at the northern Kentucky oval.

The 3-year-old Into Mischief filly was making her stakes debut following a close second to Cadenza in a Feb. 21 allowance race over the same surface. Hen Party would turn the tables on Cadenza in the Serena’s Song. Running in mid pack early on, Hen Party had her sights set on Cadenza, who was in front of her through the first half-mile. As the field turned for home, Hen Party made a bold three-wide move and rolled to the front soon after, going on to win by two lengths in a swift 1:09.51.

Along with Commandment (G1 Florida Derby) and Renegade (G1 Arkansas Derby), Hen Party was one of three stakes winners on the day for Into Mischief. The Godolphin LLC homebred is 2-1-0 in four starts and has earned $116,849.

Hen Party is the second foal out of La Brea S. (G1) winner Fair Maiden. Her initial runner, First Resort, won the Kentucky Jockey Club S. (G2) as a 2-year-old.
