Into Mischief hits milestone after Shred the Gnar wins Chilukki S. (G3)
November 15, 2025

Shred the Gnar’s win in the $300,000 Chilukki S. (G3) Nov. 15 at Churchill Downs helped pushed Into Mischief’s 2025 progeny earnings over the $30 million mark, making him the first stallion in history to have surpassed that figure in consecutive years.
Three-year-old Shred the Gnar, who was making her stakes debut, is Into Mischief’s 91st lifetime graded stakes winner.
Not seen since a seven-length allowance score on the Kentucky Derby undercard, Shred the Gnar showed her customary speed as she dueled with One Magic Philly through a half-mile in :45.48. That duo continued their battle around the turn and into the stretch. In the final furlong, Shred the Gnar asserted herself, pulling away to win by 2 ¾-lengths in 1:34.84 for the mile on a fast track.
“She’s loaded with talent,” winning trainer Brian Lynch said. “It means a whole lot more coming back off the layoff like that. I think she could go longer if she needed to and the future is very bright for her.”
Owned by Flying Dutchmen Breeding and Racing LLC, Shred the Gnar is a TDN Rising Star and is a neck away from being undefeated in four starts. Her earnings stand at $312,410.
Shred the Gnar was bred in Kentucky by Camas Park Stud & Lynch Bages LTD and is a full sister to Into Mischief’s multiple graded stakes winner Owendale. Their dam Aspen Light is a sister to Grade 1 winner Great Hunter.
