Maximus Mischief tallies second MdSpWt winner of the day at Gulfstream

Escape Room gave Maximus Mischief his second winner on Friday’s card at Gulfstream Park with front-running score in a five-furlong 2-year-old maiden special weight race on the synthetic surface.

Maximus Mischief now has five winners overall, tying his with fellow Spendthrift Vino Rosso for the top spot on the First-Crop Sire list.

Escape Room had little problem besting her foes. She went right to the lead from the start and had a one-length lead at the midway point. She travelled very straight and strong in the stretch and widened her lead to 3 ¼-lengths at the wire.

The winner is owned by Soldi Stable LLC and Ohana Racing LLC and was bred by Wiji Bloodstock. Escape Room’s second dam is Adirondack S. (G2) winner Regally Appealing.
