Maximus Mischief’s Carmelina now a six-time stakes winner

Carmelina won the $100,000 Unique Bella S. for the second consecutive year on April 22nd, giving the 5-year-old daughter of Maximus Mischief her sixth career stakes win.
One of seven stakes horses this year for Maximus Mischief, Carmelina was making her third start of the year following a six-month break over the winter.
Carmelina’s stablemate Disco Ebo led early, with Carmelina just a length behind for the backstretch run. Around the turn, Carmelina closed the gap to be on even terms turning for home. She went to the lead easily, with jockey Paco Lopez looking back for competition. On her own in the final furlong, Carmelina won by 3 ½-lengths in 1:10.30 for the six furlongs on a fast track.
Carmelina now sports a record of 9-2-0 in 22 starts, with earnings of $570,260 for owner LC Racing, LLC.
The winner was bred by Lillith Boucher and is out of multiple stakes winner Complete St.
