Mister Omaha rockets to repeat win in Oklahoma Classics Cup
October 17, 2026
Omaha Beach’s fleet-footed 4-year-old colt Mister Omaha took the lead soon after the start of the $175,000 Oklahoma Classics Cup S. Oct. 16 at Remington Park and never looked back to score a repeat win in the 1 1/16-mile race.
Much like he did in 2025, Mister Omaha made the lead shortly after the start and established a three-length lead after a half-mile of :47.32. Still in hand around the final bend, Mister Omaha was unchallenged the rest of the way and cruised under the wire a 4 ½-length winner.
Bred and owned by Bryan Hawk, Mister Omaha is now a six-time stakes winner and is a stellar 10-1-2 in 18 starts, with earnings of $509,083. The bay colt is a full brother to this year’s St. Louis Derby winner Sharons Beach.
Omaha Beach leads the Fourth-Crop sire list in nearly every measurable category and is in the top 15 on the General Sire list. Spendthrift recently announced that Omaha Beach’s stud fee will remain at $75,000 S&N for 2027.
