Point Dume becomes latest stakes winner for Into Mischief

October 22, 2025

Into Mischief got his 22nd stakes winner of the year on Tuesday at Parx Racing when Point Dume tallied a 1 ½-length win in the M. P. Ballezzi Appreciation S.

The 4-year-old was prominent throughout the one-mile contest. Second to Bernie’s Mitts early, he took command after three furlongs and would never be headed from that point. He turned for home on top by two lengths and went down the lane unchallenged to win handily.

Owned by the Bush Racing Stable, Point Dume is 8-6-3 in 26 starts and has earned $$351,290. The bay was bred in Kentucky by Sea Horse Breeders, LLC. He is the second foal out of Maya Malibu, whose dam Island Sand won the Acorn S. (G1) and Delaware H (G2) and earned over $1.1 million.

Reigning six-time champion sire Into Mischief is once again dominating the General Sire list in 2025, with over $26.7 million in progeny earnings to date, more than $7 million than any other sire.
