Solid numbers for Zandon’s first Keeneland weanlings

Zandon, one of Spendthrift Farm’s four first-year sires represented at the Keeneland November sale, showed healthy returns of over five times his bred-on stud fee.
Leading the way for the Grade 1 winner was hip No. 670, consigned by Airdrie Stud Raised and Offered and sold to CTR LLC.
The bay colt is out of the three-time stakes winner Adore, who hails from a strong line that includes champion Ole Pegasus, District and Spire.
Zandon was a dominant winner of the Blue Grass S. (G1) and placed in that year’s Kentucky Derby (G1) and Travers S. (G1). At 4, he won the Woodward S. (G1) and was second in both the Met Mile (G1) and Whitney S. (G1).
Zandon is standing the 2026 season for $7,500 S&N.
