Taiba colt soars to $385,000 at Keeneland November sale

Taiba was one of the most popular First-Crop sires at the Keeneland November sale, with his weanlings averaging $143,500, topped by a colt that went for $385,000 to Go Go Greys, BSW/Crow, agent.

The colt, hip No. 699, was consigned by Mulholland Springs, agent.

The Kentucky-bred bay is out of stakes winner Bet She Wins, who comes from the immediate family of graded stakes winners Til Forbid, Softly and Hold Old Blue. This is also the extended family of millionaire, Grade 1 winner and sire Angel of Empire.

Taiba concluded his brilliant career with earnings of more than $2.3 million, winning the Pennsylvania Derby (G1), Santa Anita Derby (G1) and Malibu S. (G3), as well as finishing third in the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) to wrap up his 3-year-old campaign.

Taiba bred 169 mares in 2025 and will stand the 2026 season for $25,000 S&N.
