Undefeated Flat Out Speed wins second stakes start

September 2, 2019

Flat Out Speed has been unbeatable to this point in her career, racking up three wins, the latest coming in the $92,375 Iowa Sorority S. Labor Day at Prairie Meadows, the second stakes win for the 2-year-old Flat Out filly.

Flat Out has been one of the most productive North American-based Third-Crop sires this year, with seven stakes horses. His 84 winners is more than any Third-Crop stallion.

Flat Out Speed, who won the Prairie Gold Lassie in her previous start, won the Sorority in a hard-fought duel with Kahului, chasing her down in the final furlong to win by three-quarters of a length, with the rest of the field a dozen lengths back (VIDEO).

The dark bay filly has now earned $134,654 in her three starts for Poindexter Thoroughbreds, who bred her with Wynnstay LLC.
