September 17, 2022

Omaha Beach’s popular first crop of yearlings were in the spotlight again to start Book 3 at the annual Keeneland September sale in Lexington, with a well-bred colt making $725,000 – the third highest price overall during the session – after a feverish pursuit that concluded with agent Michael Wallace signing the ticket on behalf of Vinnie Viola’s St. Elias Stables.

Through as Hip 1370, the colt’s third dam is Grade 1 winner My Flag, who is the dam of champion Storm Flag Flying among other stakes performers and graded stakes producers.
