Palace filly zips to facile MdSpWt win

Palago drew off to a 3 ½-length maiden special weight victory at six furlongs Nov. 14 at Hawthorne, making the 2-year-old filly the 13th First-Crop winner for Palace (VIDEO).
The Spendthrift stallion has been popular with breeders in his first four seasons, most recently covering 120 mares in 2019. His 2020 fee will be $5,000, live foal stands and nurses.
Palago was bred by Terry Morgan, DVM and is owned by Sharon Morgan. She is the first foal out of stakes-place Causegood, who is a half-sister to multiple stakes winner Shogood.
