Terrific Keeneland September start for Into Mischief

Into Mischief’s $875,000 colt, hip No. 79, at the 2018 Keeneland September Yearling sale

Leading sire Into Mischief’s stellar results during Monday’s first session of the Sept. 10-23 Keeneland Yearling sale were topped by an $875,000 colt purchased by Godolphin.

The Spendthrift stallion had a total of five lots sell on the day, with an average price of $383,000. He has a total of 87 lots in this year’s Keeneland catalog.

The $875,000 colt, hip No. 79, was consigned by St. George Sales, agent. The bay colt’s dam Katherine’skadence is out of Won’t She Tell, who is a half-sister to Horse of the Year and Triple Crown winner Affirmed and has produced three stakes winners and five stakes horses overall.

A bit earlier in the session, Into Mischief’s hip No. 61 consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, was bought by Winchell Thoroughbreds for $500,000. The bay colt’s stakes-winning dam It’s True Love has already produced stakes winners Pangburn and Ain’t Got Time from just three foals to race.

In addition to his sparkling sales results, Into Mischief is a top-five General Sire of 2018, with an incredible 34 stakes horses and more than $10.2 million in progeny earnings to date.
