Undefeated Maximus Mischief colt in a class by himself in Iowa Cradle S.

Budding star Glengarry turned in an incredible performance in Saturday evening’s $100,000 Iowa Cradle S., rolling to a 12 ¾-length victory to give the 2-year-old Maximus Mischief colt his first stakes victory [WATCH RACE].
The undefeated gray is the second stakes winner for his sire, who leads the First-Crop Sire list with 19 winners and $1,207,995 in progeny earnings.
Glengarry, who broke his Aug. 28 maiden debut by nearly a half-dozen lengths, rocketed out of the gate to assume command of the Cradle immediately. He flew through the first quarter-mile in :21.76 and a half in :44.94. Despite the swift pace, he had plenty of run in the stretch as he drew away with every stride to stop the timer in 1:09.42 for the six furlongs on a fast track.
He earned a very strong 88 Beyer Speed Figure in victory.
The winner is owned by Aaron Kennedy, Toby Joseph and Doug Anderson and was bred by Highpoint Bloodstock. Glengarry’s dam L. A. Way foaled a full sister to Glengarry this Spring.
