Wicked Warrior gets comfortable allowance win

Three weeks after an easy maiden special weight debut win, Wicked Warrior made it two in a row on Sept. 7 with another handy score in a six-furlong allowance win at Thistledown.

Though he got some pressure in the first half-mile from Tio Perico, the Wicked Strong 2-year-old never really appeared threatened and pulled away at will in the stretch to win geared down (VIDEO).

Wicked Strong, who got his first graded stakes winner on Sept. 1, is a top-10 First-Crop Sire by winners with nine to date.

Wicked Warrior races for Bruce Tallisman and was bred by Catherine and Peter Sheppell.
