Goldencents, the #1 First-Crop Sire of 2018, had another strong auction showing at the Aug. 11-12 Fasig-Tipton New York-bred Preferred Yearlings sale, topped by a $210,000 filly during Sunday’s closing session

Gainesway Sales, agent, consigned the bay, hip No. 560, which went to Mike Stinson. The bay filly is out of Quite the Sis, whose half-brother Stage Player was a stakes winner of nearly a half-million dollars.

Goldencents’ first crop of runners includes seven individual winners and two stakes winners to date, with $387,942 in progeny earnings. A son of Spendthrift Farm’s leading General Sire Into Mischief, Goldencents bred more than 500 mares over his first three seasons at stud.
